Education
All children, boys and girls, go to school until the age of 14. It is very important that all children here in Apoll get proper education. The kids study biology, geometry, history, physics, lyric poetry, and theatre such as tragedy and comedy. After fourteen, boys continue their education but also focus on military training. Girls also continue their education but focus on learning domestic traits. While both genders continue their education, the education is reduced greatly and not as rigorous as the domestic or military training. Every person in Apoll is noble and knows a great deal about the Greek society.
Philosophy |
Here in Apoll, we believe that philosophy is not as important as other issues for our children to learn. We don't think that it's not true, but we just don't have the right minds for it. The children and adults here strive to think truthfully and realistically not to find out a new theory to question people. We do spend a couple of days on it at schools telling the kids about it because it is a part of the Greek history. Here in Apoll, we are stronger and wiser and we don't need philosophy screwing that up.
